Coming Home
We just finished all of our "debriefing" for the program. It's time for everyone to start saying their goodbyes and start getting things in order for leaving in the morning. Of course, there's alot of mixed emotions flying around, but on the whole, it's a really happy time. We're all a little ready to head back to our respective homes and our "normal" lives, but of course, we'll all return to the States different from our experiences together. At this point, I think the whole semester is too fresh for me to able to fully understand or comment at length on what it's done to/for me. I'm sure it's affected me more than I realize. But right now, I only have two things on my mind.
1) I meet Mom tomorrow morning in London for our grand tour of Scotland and Ireland. I'm sure it's going to be a wonderful trip with lots of good memories made. (I think I've already said this, but) we are training/ferrying everywhere we go, so as to get a healthy dose of the country side. Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin, then back to London. We really haven't made hard and fast plans, AT ALL, (I know, it would drive you crazy, Stacy) and this only adds to the sense of adventure ;0).
2) In just a little over a week, I'll be back in Atlanta where Amanda is planning on picking Mom and me up from the airport to go to Caleb's baseball game in Buckhead. It will be so great to give her a big hug and tell her I love her in person instead of over the phone once again. Three months has been a long time to be away. But the final count down has begun! And home (with all the wonderful connotations it has for me) is just a week away.

This is no way to end your adventures even if you have been home a while.
Tell us about Ireland and Scotland and the final travels and the adventures getting home! The story can't end before you reach your front door steps!
COME ON
Wirte MATT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
